The Parkinson Pool is regarded as one of the premier swimming locations in Brisbane and considered a prominent competitor in local, state and national swimming. The Parkinson Aquatic Centre provides a state-of-the-art training facility for swimmers, with an 8-lane heated 50m pool equipped with a submersible wall, gym facilities with our Strength and Conditioning Coach and a highly rated squad program. The Parkinson Squad program provides an extensive and supportive squad program with the aim of developing swimmers to reach their elite potential. In 2022, the program incorporated the Parklands Christian College Swim Team into its program, providing the unique opportunity to develop and build the school’s Swim Team.

Rackley Parkinson is also one of the few Swimming Australia’s Para Performance Programs across the country. Headed up by Gen2032 Coach, Ethan Forge, and backed by the Queensland Academy of Sport and Swimming Australia, this program provides a pathway for impaired swimmers to explore swimming as a pathway towards 2032. Club Nights at Parkinson Pool

Club nights are about building team spirit and to provide swimmers with a friendly and fun atmosphere giving them the opportunity to experience carnival style races in a more relaxed environment, putting into practice what swimmers learn in training.

They are also a good occasion for parents and carers to connect and see their swimmers in action.

We look forward to your involvement and feedback on how we make it a great experience for all our swimmers regardless of their level
