Led by Head Coach Damien Jones, the Rackley Performance Program was established in 2024 through a partnership between Rackley Swim Team, Swimming Australia, and the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS). Based at the Swimming Australia Hub at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre (Chandler), the program was created to support Rackley’s ongoing commitment to helping athletes achieve their goals of representing Australia on the world stage.
This innovative high-performance program has already delivered world-class results, with Rackley athletes achieving success at both national and international levels.
Swimming Australia Performance Hubs play a critical role in the national High-Performance strategy and are built around five key priority areas: coaching and technical leadership, world-class athletes, daily performance and competition environments, world-leading performance support, and access to key facilities and technologies.

The Rackley Athlete Support Program exists to help elite swimmers thrive – in sports and in life. Built on proven sports psychology principles and delivered by experts with lived high-performance experience, the program supports athletes at every stage of their career, both on and off the pool deck.
Since launching in 2021, the program has provided top-tier athletes with unparalleled access to funding, expert mentorship, and commercial opportunities, creating sustainable pathways during and beyond their competitive years.
