COVID-19 Update:

Brisbane City Council has advised us today that the Brisbane Aquatic Centres are to be closed. As a result, we will be temporarily closing our squad program at the end of sessions today (23/03/2020). All direct debit will be suspended so you will not be charged squad fees.

This is a big challenge for all in the community and in particular for our dedicated coaches - Rackley Swimming is committed to reopening at the first opportunity and we will keep you informed. Enjoy a well deserved break and look after yourself and your families. We look forward to getting back in the pool and squad training again.

Tracey Menzies Stegbauer

Tracey Menzies Stegbauer (Head Coach - Parkinson)

Tracey Joined the Rackley team in July 2019, having spent the past 10 years working with high performance swimmers and programs, at the AIS and Swimming Australia. Tracey is a highly awarded coach and represented Australia as a coach on both World Championship and Olympic Teams. Prior to her decade in Canberra Tracey spent 15 years at Sutherland Leisure Centre beside Doug Frost; taking over as Head Coach, in her final five years.  During this time she coached Ian thrope in his run to the Athens Olympics which saw him become the only person to medal in the 100–200–400 combination in Olympic history. Coach to countless household names and internationally recognised swimmers over her 24 year career, including  Ian Thorpe, Craig Stevens, Ky Hurst, Simon Cowley, Kirsten Thomson, Amanda Pascoe and Jason Cram.  Tracey's motivation to join the Rackley team at Parkinson was her desire to get back to a grassroots program in an emerging club and develop the next generation of swimmers with a focus on Junior through to Age level swimmers.

Humberto Angerami

Humberto Angerami (Assistant Head Coach - Parkinson)

Humberto Angerami is a Silver Coach and has been in this industry for 19 years. He worked as a swimming coach in brazil for 12 years as a Head age group coach. During this time, he acquired a Masters in Swimming Training and Exercise Physiology as well as a degree in Physical Education.  Humberto has taken swimmers to Australian Age and Open nationals, won many QLD state and school championships and qualified swimmers for QLD state teams.

Previously Humberto was the Head coach of Brisbane Jets swimming club for 6 years where he had continuously built the squads of the club each year with 10 age national athletes for his last season. Humberto has a straight forward and effective coaching philosophy, "I Believe in hard work for you to achieve your goals, you require focus and hard work with no short cuts."

Club Nights are held on every two to three weeks during spring and summer.  Club nights are about building team spirit and putting into practice what swimmers learn in training.  They are also a good occasion for parents and carers to connect and see their swimmers in action. We look forward to your involvement and feedback on how we make it a great experience for all our swimmers regardless of their level.

Monthly Squad Fees
Junior $145.00
Junior Excellence $150.00
Bronze $160.00
Silver $170.00
Gold $190.00

PLEASE NOTE : Please note the monthly rates are calculated based on an annual amount spread across 12 monthly payments, rather than a term-based approach. The amount takes into account expected breaks/holiday periods for swimmers. For breaks of more than 4 weeks (or in case on injury) please contact the centre manager to organise a payment suspension during the period you are away (Noting that on return your time/day for squads may vary depending on availability).

All squad fees are payable via Direct Debit on a monthly basis. Swimmers will be issued with a scan card that must be presented to reception at each visit. Although swimmers are able to access as many sessions per week that are available for their level, we do ask parents to nominate the days and sessions they wish their child to attend. This will ensure that we are not overcrowding lanes, and that all children are receiving individual attention from their coaches. Attendances for all sessions will be tracked via our database to ensure that capped numbers are being maintained. Providing spaces are available you may increase the number of sessions, or change your day and time at any time by contacting our customer service team at Centenary.

Please refer to the Squad timetable for days and times available for each squad level.
