The Milne Bay Aquatic and Fitness Centre (previously known as the Milne Bay Memorial Pool) is located in Toowoomba CBD and was officially opened by the Toowoomba City Council in 1960 – in memory of the 25th Battalion from the Toowoomba region who served in the Battle of Milne Bay during World War II in Papua New Guinea. Milne Bay Aquatic Centre contains a 50-metre heated outdoor lap pool (seasonal), a 25-metre heated indoor lap pool with beach entry and wave pool, a heated therapy/program pool and children’s wading pool. Also at the centre there is a fully enclosed 45-metre water slide, waterspouts and mushroom play area, spa, sauna,  health club and group fitness classes. There is a Café offering hot and cold food and a retail area for goggles, swimmers and more. Onsite parking is available.

The Milne Bay Coaching Team has a deep commitment to helping each individual swimmer achieve their personal goals in the sport.

Our world class facilities and coaching team are always on hand to offer advice and guidance on all aspects of our program.

Club Nights at Toowoomba

Club Nights are focused around building team spirit. Cheering on, encouraging, celebrating and supporting every swimmer. At club nights, we introduce the skill of racing in a fun and friendly environment. Club nights are a place where swimmers can feel comfortable and relaxed in a familiar environment, try their best and build friendships across all squads.

Club nights are also a place where parents and carers can bond, create a supportive community, and see the results of their swimmers’ dedication.

This Term’s Club Nights will be held on July 11th, August 1st, August 29th, and September 13th.

We look forward to seeing you there!
